The world famous FLORA-BAMA will host a Movie Screening event for the 50th anniversary of its establishment, held on Monday, July 25th. The Veterans Memorial Park Foundation (VMPF) will receive a percentage of the proceeds from the event. Entry is $5 with donations encouraged.

As many locals are aware, the FLORA-BAMA has been through major transformations throughout the years, and has remained a staple in our little nook of Southern paradise. The PREMIER Tour of the New Documentary, "FLORA-BAMA 50 YEARS,” chronicles how it all began over 50 years ago. This film, created by nationally renowned producers, Mike Cotton and Dave Barnes, took over 2 years to complete. This documentary will take you behind the scenes of one of America’s favorite coastal stops. This premier is not one to miss!

The event will be held at the FLORA-BAMA; gates open at 6:30 PM for a Meet & Greet with the producers, stars of the film, and volunteers from Veterans Memorial Park. This "World Famous Road House” has a long time tradition of supporting our nation’s heroes-our Military and Veterans. Veterans Memorial Park is honored to receive a portion of the proceeds from this event. The film will begin at 7:30 PM with a Q & A to follow.

Come on out and spread the word! This documentary tells the story of one of the most timeless hideaways along the Gulf Coast while raising funds for our cherished Veterans Memorial Park. It is sure to be an evening full of laughter and celebration.
